We have been celebrating World Book Day with a variety of activities today and the children enjoying creative arts and crafts in their classes, focussing on a traditional tale. A whole school assembly at the end of the day celebrated the day and stories were shared.

Everyone looked absolutely amazing in their costumes, dressed as their favourite traditional tale characters. Well done everybody, what a great day and we even had the sun shining too!

The children had a fantastic time with i-rock School of Music in today, enjoying a fun taster assembly led by a very talented, professional musician. It gave the children the opportunity to choose an instrument to play in a band with everyone joining in and singing along to rock songs. They were rockin’ it and it was lovely to see a love for music!!

The whole school took part in this year’s Art festival. During the week the children had great fun and enjoyed expressing themselves through painting and creating some wonderful pieces for us to share

We are very proud that children from Wickhambrook Primary Academy took part in a Cathedral production of Flooded last weekend, celebrating local history and talent.

The children have been rehearsing for weeks and more than 240 pupils from schools in Suffolk took part in the wonderful production about a historic flood in Bury St Edmunds!

Congratulations to everyone who took part in this fantastic production, well done!

Thank you to everyone who made and brought in cakes for our Student Council Bake Sale on Monday.

We raised over £250 from the generous donations at the sale which we will use to buy more play equipment for the children to enjoy – your support is hugely appreciated as always, thank you!
