Within the Early Years at Wickhambrook Academy, the environment and curriculum are tailored in a way that empowers children to flourish with their learning. They receive an immersive, highly-engaging and motivating play-based learning experience which enables them to become assured and independent learners. This approach secures foundations in order to equip them for their educational journey ahead.

The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework provides us with the scaffold for our Early Years curriculum alongside the ambitious CUSP foundational knowledge. We intend to ensure that all children make at least good progress from their starting points and are equipped with the skills and knowledge to have a smooth transition into Year 1.
