This month at Wickhambrook we have been joining in with the Unity ‘Keep Safe Month‘ with a focus on ‘belonging‘.
The children have been taught how to climb the trees safely and have shown they are able to follow the rules and work as a team when participating in ‘risky play’.
We have also had visits from the Police on how to keep safe, classes joining in with first aid sessions and lots of school assemblies on what ‘consent’ means.
The whole school joined together on the field to reflect on our Wickhambrook family and eat a biscuit together, and our school mural with the children’s handprints on has been started with represents our values as a school community.
